University of Alaska Southeast Tourism Program Interest Survey
Your participation in the following survey will help the University of Alaska Southeast School of Management in making a decision to add a Tourism Emphasis to its 2-year Associate of Applied Science degree program. This program prepares students in the fundamentals, principles, techniques and skills essential to the theory and effective practice of business. A tourism emphasis within this degree will include classes uniquely tailored to Southeast Alaska with active participation of industry expects. The curriculum under consideration includes an introduction to the industry; current practices, trends, and future expectations; hospitality services, food and beverage management; restaurant/resort management; legal considerations; Alaska history; and leadership skills in outdoor and adventure settings.
